Garden Cycles Bike Tour Presents: Faces from the New Farm

This short film, chronicling a cycling journey made last summer, will be shown locally at 4 p.m. on the opening day of the 2009 Princeton Environmental Film Festival, Friday January 2, at the Princeton Public Library. Lara Sheets, Liz Tylander, and Kat Shiffler made the 2,000 mile bicycle trip to explore the budding sustainable agriculture and local food movement. From the mid-Atlantic up into New England and Canada (including Princeton) they discover people and communities finding solutions to the environmental excesses of industrialized agriculture.
