Leaves a Plenty

A small but determined crew came out on December 22nd to clear leaves and autumn debris from the Rogers Preserve Trails. Roger Alig, Silvia Ascarelli, Sabina Carlson and Ken Carlson cleared the main trail between landing lane and Cranbury Road. A bit more clearing needs to be

done on the trails towards Grovers Mill Pond. Future work will include building steps at the Clarkville Road entrance and the placement of trail signs throughout the Preserve trails.

Earlier in the month, members of the Cross-Country Running team from High School North worked to clear the Perimeter trail on the Millstone Preserve West off of Joanne Street. Trail workers included Ryan Sleeper, Steve Au-Yeung, Sagar Velegala, Mohan Yenugadhati, Kelly Callahan, Ali Campiglia, Alyssa Christie and Trish Reilly. WWBPA member Eric Sleeper provided motivation, pizza and drinks. It's great to see the members of the Team working on the trails as they routinely train on the Millstone Preserve trails. Many thanks to Eric for setting this up.
